This beginning sculpting class introduces students to the basics of working with clay and sculpture techniques. Students will learn about different clay bodies, sculpting tools, hand-building methods, firing processes, and glazing techniques.
This is a two day class that meets once a week for four hours each day. It is offered on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays from 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm. All supplies, firing and glazing are included. No prior art experience is required—only a willingness to explore and create. Emphasis is placed on creativity, not perfection!
